This year I decided to make writing fun or at least try to, since I heard about other teachers doing it, I thought I give it a go. I want my students also to get use to writing online and talking about himself or herself or anything that interest them in English so this is great way to do just that. “Blogging is a Web-based form of communication that is rapidly becoming mainstream” (Nardi, Schiano, &Gumbrecht, 2004, p. 222), also some see it as journal online so its great way to reflect and to learn from your reflections. Brookfields (1998) says that critical reflection is a good habit to continue toward a health education (p. 197). In other words, having an online diary or communicating online while reflecting is another way to immerse youselves in forwarding your education and learning. I will continue to teach formal academic writing but I thought blogging would give my students another way or a relief from writing formally. I look forward to hearing from students to discover if this was really useful or at least a break from hard-core studying. I also hope my students learn more about themselves, their goals, and aspirations.
